Respect (Semi-Pessimistic Rant)

I’m not sure of its a product of living in Los Angeles, but people seem to not respect another’s person or property anymore. What I am speaking of is that someone decided to break the driver’s side mirror on my car about a week ago. A few days later, someone backed into my car and messed up my front bumper. It may be that packing too many people together into such a small space results in a loss of respect for others and life in general. People become just another nameless face in the crowd where it doesn’t matter what happens to them because they are dehumanized and therefore disposable, like everything else in our culture.
