Streamlining

For the past several days, Melissa and I have gone through a lot of our possessions and selected quite a bit of them to give away through Freecycle. Its nice to give things to people who might find uses out of them. Also, its less material for us to lug around when we move. I’ve given away a lot of my computer collection, under the encouragement of Melissa. It does feel pretty good to cleanse our apartment and in a way our spirits, too. Sometimes you can reach a point when you stop owning your possessions and they start owning you. Getting rid of a lot of things has freshened our mental and spiritual aspects in a way that I couldn’t prognosticate. I recommend it wholeheartedly to everyone. Another plus is that it will now be much easier to move when I finally get a job.
