Melissa’s old CRT monitor started making the high pitched noise again, so I decided to go back to one monitor. I usually have it attached to the PC and connect to the Mac via VNC. It works well for most tasks, except for trying to use any program involving video. Movies are choppy, which is to be expected, because all of the info that typicaly is written to the monitor is sent to the PC via Ethernet. It is 100Mbps, so this setup should definitely perform better if I used Gigabit Ethernet, but that will have to wait.
