The past couple of weeks I was feeling nostalgic, so I looked around my old high school’s website, and found that alumni had a Yahoo egroup. I posted a short synopsis of what happened to me over the past twelve years since I graduated from there. Ron, an old friend, who graduated the year before me contacted me and provided me a link to his website, which he now mainly features pictures of his little girl. It makes me feel a little weird how sometimes time seems to have gone by so quickly.
Recently, I was also contacted by Mike, the final graduate of my graduate research advisor’s group. He’s now working as a postdoc at Iowa State doing some kind of research involving hair cell receptor biosensors, which sounds kind of cool.
