Recent Leisure Reading

I recently finished the latest book in the Harry Potter series: “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” and I must say that I was shocked at who was killed. I won’t spoil it for you, but I think it all was a conspiracy, and that person will be back in the next book.

I also read a couple of Christopher Pike books, “Sati” and “Spellbound.” Pike is one of my wife’s favorite authors. I thought these two books were pretty good. They probably could be polished a little, and both could be easily translated into television or other media. “Sati,” pronounced Sah-Tee, was about a woman who claims to be God and how she affects those around her. “Spellbound” was about mysterious deaths in a mountain town and how they might be related to a shaman in Africa.
