Melissa’s Birthday
Published by Sean November 13th, 2005 in Personal. My wife, Melissa, had the anniversary of her birth on the sixth of this month. I bought her around 20 Christopher Pike books from the local used book store (all that they had, except for duplicates) and three used Nintendo DS games (Super Mario 64 DS, Trace Memory, and The Urbz) for her system (the teal Nintendogs bundle) that we got a week or so earlier. We celebrated with an ice cream cake (with apparently no cake) and home made gluten free chocolate cupcakes. It was the first time she had an ice cream cake for her birthday and the cupcakes turned out much better than gluten free items usually do. In fact, they were actually pretty good. I made dinner and we watched a movie later that evening, the Nicole Kidman version of “Bewitched,” which wasn’t as bad as we had heard. All in all, a good time was had.
I love you, Melissa! Happy Birthday!
