We recently rented March of the Penguins, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and War of the Worlds. Of the three, the best was Mr. & Mrs. Smith, which was better than I had expected. Not a lot, of course, given that my expectations have continually been lowered by the quality of product coming out of Hollywood. The story could still have been better, but it was decent. War of the Worlds wasn’t bad, just stessful and mostly blah. Given all of the talk about March of the Penguins, I was expecting it to be more than just a nature documentary. Also, I didn’t see anywhere in it that would suggest intelligent design, but Darwinism seemed pretty evident to me.
