Chemical Shift

I know its been quite a while since I’ve posted and kept all of you faithful readers waiting. We got to Delaware ok, after quite a tumultuous trip that will hopefully not be repeated. Let’s just say that it involved both vehicles needing repair, a gas leak, freaky insects, etc.

The new job is going well and looks like it will be very challenging. I’ve proposed several strategies for the projects of which I am in charge and I have confidence in their success.

Melissa’s computer died / motherboard fried a week or so ago and we decided to get a new computer for her. It arrived yesterday and she’s busy installing of her software and games, after copying all of her data files from the older computer’s hard drive. I scavenged the parts from her old system to upgrade mine and piece together a system for use as a Media Center computer for one of the TVs.

A couple of the power windows in our van aren’t working right. I need to check the fuses under the dashboard and hood to see if there are any that went out. Hopefully I will be able to fix it myself and won’t have to pay to get it repaired.

Our seventh wedding anniversary is coming up in couple weeks. Melissa and I have been together for close to nine years. The time seems to have flown by so quickly. Melissa, I love you and I can’t imagine my life without you.
